GoodWill Mozambique serves as a refuge for vulnerable children and is situated in the city of Vilanculos. The facility has the capacity to provide a home for up to 50 children aged between 7 and 18.

Our Journey

In 2021, Jeffrey Henseler, in collaboration with Passport Legacy, established GoodWill Vulnerable Children's Home. This sanctuary is dedicated to offering vulnerable children a secure and nurturing environment where their fundamental rights are upheld, their emotional well-being is fostered, and their education is prioritized. Supported by the committed GoodWill team, the children are given a home where they can thrive and grow into strong, independent adults.

Our Mission

Our children's home houses up to 50 children between the ages of 7 and 18 years where they are lovingly looked after 24/7 by the GoodWill team. The running costs of the vulnerable children's home are incurred by Passport Legacy whose focus was to create the first vulnerable hildren's home of its kind in the Vilankulo, Inhambane district.

Community Support

None of this is possible without the Vilankulo local government and its representatives who have been instrumental in providing us with the necessary support including the land which now houses a welcome centre, kitchen, four dormitories, care-takers accommodation, bathrooms, and an open-air seating area which will serve as a dining area as well as a study zone.

Consultório Médico Esperança, E.I (CME) is a private clinic (currently expanding to become a hospital) managed by the owner, a Mozambique national. As part of CME's corporate social responsibility it is investing in the local community with acts that among others include its support with free outpatient medical treatment to GoodWill Mozambique's children. CME is committed to being part of the solution to local problems using its abilities and resources that are local and native.
